Ok, I made my map, put my city in, static'd it, then I had to go back and edit a small piece of land. Then I reran my BMP through dragon and did dragonSP and updated my files. Now all my statics are gone. I know, I'm dumb for clearing them but for some reason my cave enterence tiles stayed so I thought all my static buildings would too. So anyway, if I redo this, can I just not clear statics in SP, or will that double up all my trees, rocks, and such? If that won't work, does anyone have any suggestions? |

Yes, do not run Dragon SP again. Just use the old statics with the new map. If you only made small changes then it is easier to go back in and tweak with worldforge or from inside the game itself (if you use RunUO at least). |

so say I tweak a little land, just go back in and add a few trees and rocks to the forest part by hand? |

yep, the general idea is to use dragon to get the map as close to perfect as possible. Dragon is far from the perfect map making program but it can cut down on a lot of the grunt work, if you just added a lil extra forest just go in game and add tree rocks flowers whatever by hand. Recompiling the whole map would be a waste of time and might even cause more problems. |

If you have to do this by hand I suggest placing out a few "patches" of the trees etc... and copyrecting them then pasterecting them at random so at to not look Too cookie cutter then go again by hand and add small differances within the cut patches. |
