Just a few questions. Can a person walk on a starfield?
What about on no draw?

And lastly, how do I make ice? (IE freeze a lake.)

Thanks a lot guys!

Yes, no, and (as far as I know) there is no frozen water tile.

I just tested this, and you cannot walk on starfield. At least in the 3D client.

BTW: I like your new avatar, Syd.

older clients can walk on starfields, AOS changed that.
You can not walk on no draw tiles unless u edit the client a bit, as for the ice, you could possible make it :) with mulbuilder

So all those runes that lead to the star field on the original map will really leave people trapped? Heh. I loved gating newbies there. They would wonder in circles for hours trying to figure out where they were and how to get out.

You could make static ice tiles (rather than map tiles) by using the "snow" tiles (itemid 6077 to 6092). If you'd rather ice than snow, you can re-hue those to 1152. Not perfectly custom, but it might get your job done. Here's a picture of how it looks when it's done:

The "No Draw" tile cannot be walked upon, unless you create something below it, such as stairs.

I use UO Architect from Orbsydia.com to make a building, then sink it into the ground, in game (for RunUO only).

I believe there is both a static "star tile" and a map "starfield tile". AFAIK, the static tiles are walkable and the starfield ones are not.
