I've been working on a map on and off now for roughly a year. I haven't worked on it for a few months, but got the urge today, so I reinstalled photoshop and opened it up, began editing. I just got the new Mod 11 colortable, and was converting my oceans to use ocean -5, bordering my land with about 9 tiles of water -5. But I forgot to turn off the magic wand tool's anti-alising, which erased the first few rows of my land-masses.

So, I now have a -5 water to 15 or 20 mountain transition. Will this look ok, or am I going to have to fix it? And if I have to fix it, is there an easier way then doing it by hand, or redoing all the mountains?

No back-up file of the map somewhere?

I guess you didn't notice this problem on the spot - otherwise you simply could have used the Undo-Button...nevertheless: in my opinion ther is nothing wrong eith a -5 water to 15 or 20 (or higher) mountain transition. FYI: I'm using Mod 9plus.

Really, theres no way for anyone to say either way if it will loog okay, You will just have to check it out in game, and areas that are unnacceptable to you, fix/modify them.

But mountain doesn't look too bad generally, most other terrains will look horrible. It's an unfortunate flaw with mod11s water transitions that they need to be tweaked with worldforge. Of course only my opinion.
