 Post subject: Hues Not Workin

i have custom hues on my shard....then i dled a map....Ultima III or w/e and i dled the statics and runuo files....and now my custom hues just come out black....ne idea why???

Well, this has nothing to do with RunUO Specificly, its a client and file issue.

You have obviously either overwriten your custom Hues.mul with another, or corrupted the Hues.mul somehow.

If only the custom hues you had are not pitch black, that is because the custom hue no longer exists.. Or, as I said, you dont have that custom Hues.mul any longer.
If all the normal Hues are fine, I would bet you are using a different Hues.mul like the standard one.
Find the custom file you had again, and try to replace it again. Use InsideUO to verify the hues are actually on it as well.

i just double checked my hues with hueeditor and it shows all the hues are there...but it comes up black on the server

Could be a client issue. If you are using 3d, the following error is a rather annoying one.

Whatever colour is on the far right square in the hue mixer is the colour that will show up in 3d, unless the item is in your pack, on your paperdoll or being moved by your cursor.

Seems like 3d can't do the mixed hues when the item is on the ground.

I can't say this is your problem in particular, but I encountered it a little while back.
