 Post subject: Problem with forests

For some reason when i place forests and i do select the forest.scp in the static program, i have no trees. I use mod 11 also. Anyone know whats up with this?

did you edit any files? what's in the forest.txt file? did you run dragon before?

i didnt edit any files at all, and yes ive used dragon before. here is my forest file:

ok now for some reason i have trees i think, but they are all invisible and i keep hitting them. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like they are being written to a different static file or file all together and your reading from a different one. Check your file paths from the one that you are editing and the one you are using.

are you sure you are updateing each folder that is using the files? like, Ultima Online 2D folder, and the folder you might have the EMU using as well?

If you are running into stuff thats not there, you obviously have not updated your statics files in one of the folders. (client folder actually)

i mean i dont know what to say i do :(. ill try moving the files to another folder and then copying them to the uo folder and see what that does

ya i tried to move them somewhere else and it didnt work, but it appears as only i cant see them, but others can

I suggest doing somthing, maybe you should install a fresh UO. If you dont want to remove/delete your existing UO install, rename the folder to somthing else, then install again.. then, after that, change the map/statics/staidx.mul files from your Dragon, that your EMU is using as well... see if that corrects these wierd troubles.

Then, you can try to narrow down whatever went wrong with your previous install thats been modified.
