is there a way to fix the crazy jagged edges around the coastline on the north usually.

Not sure about those .bat files.... but, the north and, to some extent, west coasts can only be manually fixed via Worldforge, from what I've gathered in previous posts. :)

the batch files are personal files of stormcrow i think. they just move the mul files to a specific location. i kicked the water color and use uocoast to generate a tarnsition between ocean and land.

You can replace the water2x and x2water files with mod9 or previous scripts to go back to the old way, and ditch the ocean group and just use water. The reason the coasts look jagged is because the grass 2 tiles out needs to be randomly adjusted for Z with Worldforge for the coasts to look right. And yes, the batch files are leftovers from my stuff. I compile maps into \work and then I use the batch files to copy them to my \uo and \runuo directorys or back and forth.
