Ok I downloaded Mod 11 and started it up. had some MAJOR trouble with the color table :( So I tried a fresh, and I mean fresh install. Even unloaded my photoshop CS and started over seemed ok at first...but
after 2 complies it started changing my colors to whatever it wanted to. bit the big ones are still dirt 6 = swamp / Swamp = cave floor so I ried changing things around and still nothing. I started a brand new map and eveything loaded the color table the new brushes made a new map, -5 water to start grass 0 as a base. I finaly gave up and went back to dragon 9+ clunky but reliable. any ideas?

Well I havent gone through the whole thing (Color Table) but..

Dirt 6 = Mossy looking floor
Swamp = cave floor
Moss = cave floor

Im sure it has to be the color table or how the scripts are interpurting them, but when I look at then over lapped just abit (Swamp and moss) there is NO diffrence in the color changes.

Have you set your bmp to indexed collours, and have you loaded the collor pallet look at this thread for what i mean.. find my post with pictures. http://www.ryandor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1797 hope that helps

Thank you Thrain, I have used Dragon for some time now so I thought (First mistake) LoL I had it setup right. I use Indexed Colors for 9+ so that is what I was setting Mod 11 for, not RBG. Soon as I set it to RBG went great great :) thabk for the TuT man. thats what did it for me. now to conver ALOT of work over. also is there a way to make ONLY sand uneven, you know like the tops of mountains but not as uneven, so they look more like dunes?

Well spoke to soon, dirt swamp and moss work great under RBG but...
forest dosent, I need Indexed for that to work :( I give, thanks all for the help though. I love Dragon :)!

If you add:
05 0100 0000 0000 6143 4095 001
to unevenly.txt, all desert will have a chance (about 10%) to be 1 Z higher than placed. You can adjust that to taste.
It works like this:
05 = Terrain group ID
0100 = Chance of occurance (can be from 0001-1000)
0000 = Leftmost X
0000 = Topmost Y
6143 = Rightmost X
4095 = Bottom Y
001 = Z addition

You can modify the bounding box coordinates to be only a specified area instead of the whole map.
If you change 6143 to 5119 then the greenacres/dungeon area will not be modified.

Indexed color, 8 bits/channel is what your image should be set to. I haven't tryed playing with the 24bit yet.

Thanks but Im starting to think its not Dragon at all, but Photo shop.
I have been runnign dragon now for some 2 years and Im getting fair at it if I must say so myself ;) I have changed my uneven script sevrel times (Looks nice to) under 9+. thing is I run PhotoShop CS, all the other work I have done has been under PhotoShop 7 I have tried Indexed/RBG ou name it Im not an expert by far at the use of dragon but I have set it up on more then one machine. (For my friends) and we all have no trouble under 9+ but I havent been able to get ahold my my friends to see if they have and trouble with Mod 11 under PS7. The only script I have changed is my uneven scritp. I reinstalled PS 8 / Dragon 11/20 and started a BRAND new map> I even used Thrains tutorial just incase I missed something. Under RBG my swamp/ moss and dirt are fine but other colors are messed up, under Indexed everything else seems fine but swamp/moss and dirt. Im lost I can edit anything under 9+ works like a charm :) but 11 dont like me :( Hell I would send you a copy of *coughs* PS 8 so you could test on it if you want ...LoL because Im sure that has to be the trouble but according to my PS8 Dirt 6 and cave floor are the same color, hue and all. So im lost. but thx for all the help.

Indeed. I'm using photoshop 6 myself, and all color tables were created with it.

I would suggest downloading the latest version of mod 11 (yes, it's gone through several revisions). Checking once more that you are using the correct colortable and in indexed 8 bit mode and run it again.
