remember even though things like forest dont exactally fit to swamp in OSI UO the old map makers would put strips of grass everywhere to make trans easier...

I was wondering if there are transision tiles to go from sand to swamp or from dirt to swamp or sand to dirt? |

No, no, and yes. The only swamp transition is to grass and what we have called moss or rough grass. |

I would asume to do that you would put in atleast 2 tiles wild of grass 
so it would be like forest to grass tile then, next to that would be grass to swamp |

Right, and it's safer to put in 3 tiles, because at the corners it'll messup if you only paint 2 tiles. |
