I made a custom map replacing Ilshenar (so, map2.mul). Unfortunately, I lost the original bitmap image and want to make some changes to the map. I'm just wondering if it's possible to extract an image of it from the .mul somehow, or if I will just have to replicate it some other way. Thanks for any input.

Not possitive but I think StormCrow included that in the Mod11 software pack (the software to do it that is)

Try that and see if it works. :)

Well....sorta.......I setup m2b in it's own directory with it's own maptrans file. You wouldn't want to use it for making a map.

Darus and I have been talking the last few days, and the next release he is going to make use that second renamed maptrans I made for the m2b conversions.

An important part of using it also is that you must make an image with the colortable to use as the output for it. Of course it goes without saying that you need to use the maptrans that goes with the mod you are using so your results are the same.
