if you did run dragonsp but there are brown lines on you coast, your coastline seems to be to errr pixelized. hard to explain...if you understand me and that is not the solution, you might have used a terrain, whcih hasnt got any tarnsitions to water |

It doesn't matter if there is no transition. The statics are generated for everything (hence the X), it's semi-hardcoded into Dragon. Your first guess would be my suspicion. Something I have noticed among other things that are different about water: Whereas normal terrains need to be 2 tiles wide to transition properly, water seems to be 3. |

Also, I have a problem with some occassional brown tiles in my costlines as well. Is there a way to manually fix them in game? Or will I have to go back and fix it in the bitmap? |

It depends in which way they are messed up. Hmmm...What version of Dragon and what mod if any are you using? There are glitches in the older water statics scripts that place some tiles at the wrong height. |

I downloaded the Dragon Mod 9 + from the website, which still seems to be the most recently added download. Basically it just looks like its missing a tile because the shoreline there is a bit rough. I already did my caves etc, so I was wondering if there was I way I could fix the coastline without having to go back and redo my caves. There's very few spots in the coastlines, which is why its a bit frustrating ![]() |

Sounds like single-tile syndrome. Or pixelated as Matonor put it. You could add the statics tiles in by hand with the gm tool of your choice at -5 Z. Then freeze them. That would probably be quickest and easiest if you don't want to lose what you have already. If it's possible put up a screenshot so we can be exactly sure, but that sounds like the problem to me. |
