Post subject:  How Many Maps can Ultima Online Handle?

hello im new too this but how many maps can ultima online handle i at least want 2 maps how could i set this up? that is 2 custom maps not ish or the original uo maps. my current emu is sphere 55i i was told sphere 99l and higher have a map2.mul file but i cant set it up too good heh aka (when i do set it up the server generates tons of script errors) well i hope im not bugging anyone with this question but please do me a favor and dont leave me hanging. :?

It realy depends on your sever and what it can handle. Like sphere 55i only can have one map. and i herd that sphere 99m can have 2 but i am not sure.
As for other severs i heard that UOX can have up to 5 small maps. but i maybe wrong.

The UO client can only handle 2 maps. Map0.mul (original map and T2A are on this one) and map2.mul (Ilshenar). Not all servers support map2.mul, though.

The only way you can have more maps is to fake it by making a bunch of small maps on one of the larger maps (map0.mul) and seperate them by mountains or something.

Then there are facets, which are multiple copies of the same map.

Anyway there have been several threads related to this already, I suggest reading them.

hmm ic but how would u do that make multiple maps on one map? is that what they did for t2a? 2 maps would be nice but ive heard uox isnt exactly the best. okay now i have a new problem how do u make ropeladders the right way so they work? i'm making a tree house multi heh its at 60 how would i do the rope ladder?
