Hi, I am having a problem with the UOSir "Export Area" function. I go in there, enter in my co-ordinates and tick "Erase Section" and then export it to a file. The area is now erased from the statics, but when I attempt to add the exported information to the 55i worldfile, I get errors. Quote: ERROR:(sphereworld.scp,1402)UID conflict delete 04000000, 'oak leaves'
ERROR:(sphereworld.scp,1407)UID conflict delete 04000000, 'tree' ERROR:(sphereworld.scp,1412)UID conflict delete 04000000, 'leaves' UOSir, when exporting the area, made all the Serial #'s 040000000 and I think that is what is causing the problem. Those are the three items for the above errors; [WORLDITEM 0cd3] SERIAL=04000000 ATTR=08010 P=1712,1721,0 [WORLDITEM 0cd4] SERIAL=04000000 ATTR=08010 P=1712,1721,0 [WORLDITEM 0cb0] SERIAL=04000000 ATTR=08010 P=1714,1720,0 How can I fix this? I want the melted items erased from the statics and imported in the world file so I can delete here and there with visual help. I used to use Worldforge for this, and used the .import command in 51a to import the items.wsc file into the world. I removed the stuff I wanted, then used the export command to move it back to the wsc file for re-freezing with worldforge. I would be using worldforge again BUT .import and .export don't work. Am I using the wrong programs or doing something wrong with uosir? |

UOSIR? Now there's a blast from the past. Haven't looked at it in ages. There are much better tools available The simplest is to use RunUo and unfreeze statics right from the map to the server. Even if you want to stick with Sphere for your world (I can't imagine why anyone would) you are still better off using RunUO as your building server. There are a lot of new, powerful tools that are RunUO only, and there are more coming. |

I've never used that option in UOSir before, but I do use UOSir to remove statics normally. import and export should still work, what version of Sphere are you on? The 99z versions are all garbage, along with 1.0rc-whatever, and import/export are probably broken. |
