 Post subject: a true split fel/tram

ive seen the batteted around in theory by using a dif script that rewites the whole of tram

my questions are this

1 has it been done
2 is there a decent program for makeing the dif file
3 if it has been done what are the drawbacks ie load times ???

any info on this would be helpful

Well...

1. Not that I know of... but I have tried like hell to do just what you're asking. And no I have not succeeded.
2. Yes and no... Yes if you just want to make regular diff files like OSI intended. Small areas of difference between the two maps. No for what you want to do. Make a whole new map. Something screws up really bad with the difs when you attempt this. I'm not sure why. The statics become EXTREMELY large. Like 6MB in size. The map file doesn't exactly work right either.
3. Can't answer that yet as I havn't figured out how to do it.
