Ok, sorry first off...but I have nobody else to ask help for (btw thanks Dian for the tips earlier)

Ok first off, put my map through dragon and then dragon sp...worked fine and then loaded my world and the WHOLE world was ROCK :shock:

Ok..weird, so next I add the tilematrix = false thing, and still it was ROCK

So, as a test I tried out one of Majere's maps which was from his website...and STILL the whole world was rock....Why???

You will raeally need to give a bit more detail as to how and what you are doing.

What version of Dragon.
What paint program, and version.
What Mod # are you using with it.

where exactly did you download majere's map?
if it is a bmp file it should work.
the problem you have is usually caused by worng colors (when you forgot the step of turning the bmp into indexed colors.)

I got majere's map from http://www.pixelmethods.com/uodesign

Ummm, well I did what the tutoiral said, I used the colors from the colortable, and I did change my map to indexcolors...

btw I did get majere's map to work (after hours) but I still had problems. I couldn't get MY map to work after, even when I converted HIS map, I loaded the client and I was still on his :shock:

If you're having problem seeing the wrong map, I have to suspicious of data paths and where you have the map0.

Changing maps should at least make it look different in game (maybe not correct though).

Server? Client? Where are you putting the map once converted?

My map0.mul is in : C:\Dev\Ultima Online 2D (thats my main uo folder)

It just the part where the map isn't converted which is worrying me. When I compiled my map, so that it overrides majere's map...it didnt do it :shock:

and the datapath.cs is set to: C:/Dev/Ultima Online
