Im getting into creating maps and i have read the totorial that goas along w/ this site but i have a problem. I use photo shop 7 and i cant save in 8 bit. I tryed it in 16 but.... but ingame the map looks FUNKY. Anyone know how i can save it in 8 bit or am i just doing something wrong?

when i make my maps i have never worried about my saving settings 8 or 16 but I do keep a close watch on image resolution, I dont know if that changes anything but hey! who knows :wink:

you must set the image/mode/ to indexed colors. choose cutom, own or something and load the .aco you ca find in your dargon/addon dir
