for a forest maze:

1) set the tree script like ryandor said so that it places a tree on every forest tile on the entire map.

2) take your current world map and draw out a negative of the forest maze, so that the only forest area is the walls and the walking area can be any other tile (as long as it has no item placement scripts).
IF- your forestmaze isn't on anytype of incline, or doesn't have any differing z values then you can just make it in the "stock" maps Greenacres for the same purpose.

3) load it up with runuo and use [unfreeze to unfreeze the entire area of all the static trees that should be placed 100% where you want because you used the dragons scripts and forest tile.

4) it saves as a .wsc so you can just import it onto your map anywhere and static it later.

its alot of file moving , but you could make a bigass maze really quickly like this. and it would also be a static item, so you could place it/replace it/move it as you see fit. also using runuo's [unfreeze you can edit it at will when its finally placed.
