 Post subject: World forge problem
PostPosted: Mon Jan 19, 2004 11:30 am
I am using world forge to edit my map (created in Dragon, btw very good soft). The problem is that I want to adjust map shape to some buildings.
But in World Forge I can only see map0.mul file
there is an option which i need - "view statics" but it doesnt work :(

Is teher any way to solve that problem and see in teh same time map0.mul land and buildings in statics ?

You should actually place the floor tiles for your buildings down on the map itself. This eliminates your problem and another good thing about it is it makes the statics files smaller. :D

WorldForge cannot display static items, unfortunately.
One way of dealing with this though, is to edit a different copy of map0.mul than your UO client uses... then you can at least stay logged in while you edit the map, and get the coordinates for the areas of the map you need to edit. :/
