Hello, I've searched on whatever keywords I could think of, but nothings come thru that helps me with my problem.

I know that I'm doing something wrong because every map I have tried (downloaded distributables) has the same problem.

I run the bmp thru dragon and statics thru dragonsp. When I put the files in my folder, I log in and the map shows but I have pinstripes across the map....some maps it's wrong tiles (such as grass going from top to bottom crossing mountains and water, etc) or sometimes it's pinstripes of blackness.

Could someone advise me on this?

Thank you.

im at no means a vet to making maps but do you have the statics , map0.mul and the bmp, in the statics folder that came w/ dragon? I heard if you have them in differ locations they may mess up.

IF that doesnt work mabe post some specifics like what type paint/image program youre useing.

My 2 cents.

It could quite possibly. Many many moons ago. 1 or 2 computers back I had only 128mb of RAM and I had his problem frequently (along with a bunch more). Have to be sure to shut down every possible piece of software you can when compiling with Dragon.

I am pretty sure we all understand your problem but I would like to see a screen, and it might help some other people aswell :)
