Hi, i'm using your Draspha map, i think it's awesome and i've set it all up and i'm about ready to open the shard. However i'm here asking for help. I'm using your MAP2BMP program to convert the map, i managed to get to the part where it saves to .bmp but for some reason it doesnt seem compatible with paint nor adobe photoshop 7.0. I had to use some addon scripts for dragon in order to actually get the map0.mul to convert to .bmp. Is there something i'm doing wrong? How do i get this Draspha BMP file so i can edit it some? Please respond THX

You're not doing anything wrong. MAP2BMP doesn't work like your intending.

I may have made the Draspha map, but that doesn't mean you got it from me or that it's mine. It was created for Quicksilver for a specific shard. If he gave you permission to use the Draspha map, then you'll have to ask him for the bmp version, if he's willing to give it to you at all. He controls the use of it.

Sorry if I sound a bit short, but you didn't specify if you got permission to use it. If you haven't, you should do the right thing by asking him. If you have, then he should have specified what you can do with it.

The transition tiles that Dragon creates when you map the map are a one way process. When MAP2BMP looks at the map, it doesn't know what to do with the transition tiles, therefore it makes them yellow. That's why you can't really use the resulting map, unless you want to spend hours removing the yellow.

Fixing the transitions would require re-coding, something I cannot do. Remember, I didn't create any of the tools here. Only some scripts and tutorials.

I talked to Quick, he said that I have permission to use the "old" verison of Draspha, which is the version I'm currently using, but he's not releasing the bitmap version :(
