I've been building a map slowly and I've decided to test run it to see how it looks before I keep on going. I put the BMP file and a mul file into the respective slots and press start and it starts up but never gets far before crashing.

It crashes in different places, usually once it reaches the 2nd or 3rd transition, about 75% through. One time it crashed on creating raw map. And its crashed a few times on parsing transition tables. It seems fairly random where it crashes.

I was wondering if you have any idea what could be wrong

What do you mean you inserted a mul file in the slot? Dragon creates the mul from the .bmp file on its own then you simply rename it and drop it in the UO folder to replace the original map (Make sure you make backups of the original of course).

ooh, ok, so now that I've done what you said, it always stops at creating Raw Map, from 80-99% somewhere around there, different every time.

I think its from the BMP but I'm not sure how to fix it :(
