I have a prob / question... I juste remove some remains of OSI doors, etc.. on my shard and freeze all after.. Statics files are now 200k bigger.. after i found a place with npc, etc.. that i never see so i unfreeze all, wipe, freeze... my Statics files are now bigger... each time i freeze its bigger (and there is no new object....) Why ?????

What program are you using to freeze objects? And are you absolutely sure that there aren?t any items you don?t know about being frozen, such as items that have spawned automatically?

Hum simply use command freezeMap and unfreezeMap.. after Wipe in game and re-freeze map...

Did you install and use a seperate map0, statics0 etc folder to edit in RUNUO? If not then its actually not changing anything and your just adding to items. I have not used any of the functions for editing in the last RUNUO update so I'm not really sure they even work, they left night sight off everything so there is no telling what else is broke.

If your using RUNUO to edit the statics then you have to use a seperate UO installation basically, it requires all the major files that the client uses.

Only a "God" Client can actually edit the world files while logged into the actual game, RUNUO tricks it into thinking there is no one in the game by using a seperate set of files to read from while it is working on the other set.

To edit with RUNUO you must have the client you are using reading and writing to different files than the server is using then when you are done you copy your files over the server files. You cannot edit them directly which is what it sounds like you were doing.

So every time you were editing the files and erasing it sounds like it actually wasnt but instead was adding to which would explain the "hidden" stuff because you client cannot see what the server is showing as there since the files dont match.
