If you know how to draw cave (dungeon?) entrances without Worldforge, all you need to do is draw your dungeons over in that large black area on your map and set teleport tiles, ingame, to move the player from the entrance to the dungeon and back again. There's a file you also need to edit to tell the client where to send the player when those tiles are stepped on, but I can't remember which one it is at the moment (it's been a couple of years) and a 'search' didn't answer that question, either. I believe it's the 'regions' file. I hope this helps. -CMS ******* |

Hi, thanks for answer. But I have another question: in Dragon I can't draw in the black area :O So, how can I touch that? |

That's odd. When actually drawing your .bmp to run through Dragon, you should be able to draw over there on your image. I've never had a problem with not being able to. I don't know why you couldn't. -Goldrush ******* |

What do you mean you can't? If you are using either Photoshop or MSPaint, how can't you to? - Just paint with NoDraw color and then draw a cave in that zone, leaving a NoDraw border of 3... or, if you'd like to make a dungeon, just make a Cave Entrance. - Generate your map with all statics required, then modify your map bmp file a little, filling the area of your cave with normal mountains. - Generate map again, but do not patch statics and do not erase previous statics that was made with last rendering. You will get your landscape modified, statics at places required and caves/cave entrances applied. - You just have to make paths to your caves and to create your dungeons trough cave entrances you've made. Hope thats helps. |
