Hello,


I have experienced a problem with the MUL2BMP function. I'm trying to convert my map0.mul to a bitmap, however, the program crashes if I dont add a height. If I do so (512 for felucca), it converts til ~24MB and then stops. If I open the terrain.bmp in e.hg. gimp after that, I only see a blue "line" (some pixels high). Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

P.S. I'm currently reading it doesnt support the size of UO ML maps. Is there any other program that converts UO ML maps to a bitmap?

Hello,

Mul2Bmp definately doesn't work with the newer Mondain's Legacy Map0.mul. If you are using an ML Map0.mul, that is the problem.

Unfortunately I don't know of any other Mul2Bmp program. I *think* there might be one included with the newest version of Dragon but I have no idea how well it works, and it might require a bunch of stuff that no one has created yet (i.e. transition sets).

Hi, its been almost six month since I asked the same questions, and I too use Ultima Online Mondain's Legacy. Without a mul2bmp, me and my team are completly froze in our work, I ask you all, Map generator conceptor, please...help...fix it for uo ml.... :cry:
