![]() The grass is 0 altitude, the beach is -4 and the water is all -4, but for some reason the beach to the water still slopes, i dont understand why it does this. Am i doing the beaches properly? |

Water terrain is "altitude value - 5". Maybe the water altitude is -4 -5 = -9. data\transition\Common.xml <Trans Name="Deep Water" HashKey="000000000000000000"> <Terrain> <Tile ID="168" AltIDMod="-5" /> <Tile ID="169" AltIDMod="-5" /> <Tile ID="170" AltIDMod="-5" /> <Tile ID="171" AltIDMod="-5" /> </Terrain> </Trans> |

so the base altitude for the water is already set to -5? hmm, by the way thats shallow water on the outside of my land. To automatically set the water at -5...hmm i dont know if i really like that feature because I get confused now when i open up the altitude map. |

Ok so this is what i did, i remade the altitude map, i left the water altitude alone so its apparently at -5, i made the beach altitude -4 because there is -5. And it looks a HELL of a lot better, A LOT less brown spaces and better lookin coast. but since its -1 higher than the water its still not completly flush with the water and it looks more like a cliff than a beach. |

It would be beach 0 and shallow water 0 and it would be fine if for one small problem; beach scripts not done. So no, nothing you are doing wrong. |
